The MEHENKER® set of 4 VVT cam phasers for Audi 2.5 FSI, 2.8 FSI (EA824 Gen 2), 3.0 TFSI (EA837 evo) and 4.0 V8 TFSI (EA824 Gen 3) is engineered for petrol biturbo engines used in A6, A7 and A8. The kit controls valve timing across both banks and both camshafts without any modifications. It solves the known OE issue: accelerated wear of aluminum tooth rings and the resulting metal shavings that contaminate the oil and degrade VVT performance.

Poland’s first VVT specialist. Each cam phaser features a reinforced locking pocket with a hardened sleeve for superior durability versus OE. Every unit is oil-bench tested to replicate real pressure and temperature profiles, ensuring consistent phase response and leak-tight operation.

Materials and Manufacturing

Housing and rotor are made from the hardest available aluminum alloy for stiffness and low mass. The integrated timing chain sprockets are heat-treated steel with hardness above 50 HRC to maximize tooth life and minimize noise. Compared with common OE designs that use aluminum rings, MEHENKER® construction prevents abrasive wear and keeps the lubrication circuit clean.
