Electric control valves (solenoids)
Each camshaft adjuster needs an element that controls it. This role is played by the hydraulic solenoid valve that carries out the commands of the engine computer. Some people are incorrectly using the terms "phase sensor" or "phase adjuster" to describe it. It’s job is to open or close the flow of oil to the regulator, which can therefore do its job of adjusting the camshafts. In order for the control process to be as efficient as possible, the valve needs to respond not only quickly but also smoothly. Over time, this reaction slows down and impurities in the oil start to scratch the insides of the valve.
MEHENKER offers new, original electric control valves for camshaft adjuster systems. Cheap Chinese replacements can cause a lot of problems, since the original motor computers do not want to work with them. Their durability is also not the longest, and replacement often requires a lot of work due to complicated access. Only original parts and frequent oil changes can guarantee the desired, stable work of the system.
