The MEHENKER® sealing ring set is designed for camshaft adjusters used in Nissan and Infiniti petrol engines. The rings ensure proper sealing of the oil supply to the cam phaser mechanism. Worn seals may cause a drop in control pressure, delayed cam phaser response, noise and engine fault codes.

MEHENKER® is a Polish manufacturer specialising in components for variable valve timing systems. The rings were developed as a durable alternative to soft PTFE seals used in standard factory solutions. Their precise geometry supports stable operation of the variable valve timing system.

Material and Manufacturing

The rings are made from a special self-lubricating composite with a very low coefficient of friction. The material offers significantly higher wear resistance than standard PTFE Teflon and retains its properties during prolonged operation in engine oil and at elevated temperatures.
