Genuine VANOS Trigger Wheels BMW N51 N52 N55 S55

The set offered by MEHENKER® consists of two genuine BMW OEM trigger wheels designed for the VANOS variable valve timing system in BMW N51, N52, N55 and S55 engines, used in vehicles produced after 2009.

The trigger wheels work together with the camshaft position sensors and allow the ECU to precisely determine the current position of the camshafts. A correct signal from the trigger wheels is essential for proper VANOS synchronization and accurate engine management.

Application

The trigger wheels are part of the camshaft position monitoring system. Based on the signal read by the sensors, the ECU can control, among other things:
